In 2017 the government commissioned the Stevenson / Farmer review of mental health and employers “Thriving at work”. A report, which clearly outlines the cost to both individuals and organisations of mental health issues and proposes 6 “mental health core conditions” achievable by all organisations.
The Health and Safety Executive states that “employers have a legal duty to protect employees from stress at work by doing a risk assessment and acting on it” and proposes management standards to adhere to.
Thee is a clear link between work related stress and mental ill-health, both of which could be pro-actively managed with effective training, psycho-education and support for your team.
I have accumulated 20 years experience facilitating training in various environment including corporate courses, management development and counselling tutoring.
My combined experience as a trainer and counsellor gives me unique insight into how people work, individually and interactively. My business background enables me to formulate effective training to meet both the needs of the people involved and the organisation.
I facilitate a range of training courses focused around effective communication. Mental Health and Wellbeing in the workplace. These can either be run as specified or tailored to the needs of your organisation.
